Karina Hittle Wins 1st and 2nd Place Awards in Regional Quilt Competition

Massachusetts' Artist Wows Regional Quilters Who Vote on their Favorite Quilts

June 2002 -- Karina Hittle, fabric artist and owner of Artful Offerings^(TM) received great peer recognition when two of her quilts won both First and Second place ribbons in a northeast regional quilt competition hosted by Merri Stitches^(TM) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  Her fabric collage, "Woodland Jewels" and the crazy quilted and machine embroidered "Magical Midnight Garden"  were well received in this peer-reviewed competition.  The winning quilts were subsequently selected for and featured in the 2002 Fiber Arts Conference and the 2002 "A Quilter's Gathering" sponsored by the East Coast Quilters Alliance.
