October 27, 2005 -- Weeks Dye Works, a recognized innovator in hand over-dyed fibers has formalized a partnership with Artful Offerings, award winning designer of fabric art patterns ranging from "folk art to fancy."  Winner of the Spring 2004 International Quilt Market "Best New Exhibitor Award," Weeks Dye Works was recognized by Artful Offerings for the simple beauty of their fibers and their industry leadership.  It is anticipated that this new partnership will benefit customers through the creative talents of both companies.  In addition, the partnership will enable Artful Offerings to enhance the experience of their pattern designs with consistent availability, quality and rich colors of Weeks Dye Works' fibers, which range from cotton quilting threads, through floss, pearl cotton and wool fabric.  Weeks Dye Works was founded in 1992 by Miranda Weeks McGahey and has grown from a one-person operation dyeing a few colors to a 19-person company in a 6000 square foot facility.  They have also grown from a few 50 yard baths a week to several 13,000 yard baths a day.  With over 587 color/fiber combinations, Weeks Dye Works uses a "recipe" book to maintain color consistency and strives to offer the best consistency in the hand over-dyed fibers industry.  Because Weeks Dye Works has many different fibers available, their products appeal to all types of crafters and sewers who do needlepunch, cross stitch, needlepoint, quilting and rug hooking.
